Charging stops or only works at a certain cable angle
A loose cable or intermittent charging may involve the port. Cables, chargers, the battery, moisture and charging electronics can cause similar symptoms. On an undamaged, dry device, first try a known working compatible cable and charger. Do not put metal objects into the port.
Samsung Galaxy models can use different USB ports and charging boards. A similar-looking assembly may not fit your model variant.
How much does the repair cost for my model?
Choose the exact model. Prices and part variants come from the central Mujitech price list. Where no confirmed fixed price is available, the repair is on request.
Depending on the model, the charging port may be part of a separate assembly or linked to other functions. Replacing it does not fix unrelated mainboard faults. Tell us whether data transfer, the microphone and wireless charging still work. The correct part and repair options are confirmed in advance.

Could cleaning be enough?
Dirt may be involved. Inspection is needed to decide whether cleaning is enough or a part is required. The replacement price is not a standard cleaning fee.
What if there is a moisture warning?
Do not connect a cable while the device warns about moisture. Do not heat or open it. Discuss liquid damage personally before shipping.

We check the fault and discuss the possible repair and estimated cost with you. This assessment is free. It does not include a written report for your insurer. Only if you want written documentation for your insurer: on request, we prepare a report with a condition and damage description, photos and a repair-cost estimate for CHF 49. Standard diagnosis remains free. Complex additional investigations require a prior quotation and your approval. Please check with your insurer beforehand whether it accepts the report and covers the fee.
